I would still consider his car slammed at his raised height. That was the goal of mentioning that he was raised, because it is notable in my opinion to raise your car and still be considered slammed.
Second, he drove to the event and back (~2.5 hour drive each way). This car daily drives lower than in the picture, he’s not scared. He just wanted to lessen the chance of breaking anything because that would be really annoying to deal with considering the distance needed to travel.
