Jarrid’s GLI
We have liked Jarrid’s GLI for a while now. He used to live near Santa Barbara. Jarrid would cruise up to SB, hang out, and ride some bmx. Now he is out on the east coast and still showing Slamburlgars some love with static slam and burn outs. *note the Slamburglars sticker on his front valence

Zach’s New Ride
Zach has been friends with Slamburglars almost since the beginning. His new car isn’t much more than wheels and a healthy drop, but guess what? He did it right! He is on coil-overs, and he is most likely lower than you.

They aint 22s but I keep dem shiny
Dropped off my Schmidts at memoryfab. Then it was time for some shine seal

Now its time for a new project. Hopefully they will be ready for Oktoberfest in Big Bear

New red and gold Fittipaldi center caps are on their way

SSAutoPower’s “Tandem or DIE” 6/30/12
yeah, i’m a little late on this…
a couple weeks ago a few sacramento burglars and i (max) drove down to stockton to attend a drift event that SSAutoPower was putting on. i had missed their premier event at that venue, but i heard from friends that it was awesome mayhem. they said it was like how drift events were back in 2005-2006. no cages needed for tandem, people standing feet from the track, relaxed atmosphere, and TONS of fun. so i knew i definitely had to go to their second event.
i was hoping to drive, but as it turned out, i accidentally paypal-ed a non-existent address. i realized this the day before the event, which turned out to be a good thing since my dampers didn’t show up on time (if you’ve been following my build thread you what a surprise it was… nat).
so we left sacramento nice and early at 7am. gas and ice fill-up!

got there surprisingly quick and set up our spot.

their tech stickers cracked me up!

after a quick briefing the fun began!
rad hatch

aaron getting warmed up

robert sherod was out there too giving his girlfriend some tips

jeff was doing amazing in his basically stock miata

a cop stopped by to check out the action

some v8 power

then ken’s corolla spit out a giant cloud

when ken got back to the pits he pulled off his catch can which turned out to be completely full. he dumped it out and headed back out.
a run or two ken’s car started acting weird and wouldn’t start or idle. after a couple minutes of tinkering he got it to fire up and we could hear a rod knock 🙁
miata tow truck!

got it all loaded up on the flatbed at the end of the day after convincing the tow truck driver that it wasn’t too low to get on.

for the second half of the day they opened up the whole corse.
julian jacobs was out there teaching his girlfriend as well. she picked up an extra tire off the corse hahaha

pictures speak for themselves…

and i also put a video together.

all in all, the event was a ton of fun. it was a nice change from the other stricter events out there. and the amount of seat time for the money is unbeatable. i can’t wait till the next event. hopefully i’ll have my car together by then!
thanks to SSAutoPower for putting on such a great event!

Billy’s (Booyaka) Challenger
In honor of America and the 4th of July I would like to share a nice slammed domestic. Im sure this car is fueled by hamburgers and can be seen doing burnouts (BAKING ‘EM UP!) any day of the week.
